Anatomy Study

In order for one to improve their human drawings. One must increase their understanding of the human anatomical body. This is what I've done when focusing in this study.

Before starting the intricate details on arms and legs at such, I focused firstly on what the difference between the female and male overall body shape as a whole.

I began to first research more on what I'm familiar with, the Human Male Body.

I bought a book called "The Anatomy Of Style" Figure drawing Techniques by Patrick J, Jones. The information it has provided has made me have a good understanding with distinguishing the parts what makes male and female bodies different.

Compared with the females, The male body has -

- A larger proportions at the upper chest compared to a female body that are more narrower.
- Male bodies have a wide shoulder length than females.
- Male bodies have more muscles than females.
- Male bodies are more wider at the upper hipbone compared to females that are wider at the lower.
- Male bodies have rounder buttocks compared to female who are more blocky.
- The male is less broader compared female at the legs.

After enlightening myself to understanding of the difference, I went ahead and started using the research I have collected to translate to the drawing page.

After putting my study of the male body at the paper. I have left a translation of my anatomical understanding. Because of my good understanding on what the difference of male and female anatomy, I decided to go next with the female anatomy.

After making the female anatomical body and making a report for the page, I had now realized that there are mistakes I made being the stiff shoulder and the logic of the arm direction perspective.

I have created an arm and leg detail anatomy look so I can have a greater understanding when drawing.
